Why this internship has become so valuable to me

I'll get straight to the point with this one because I know why I can't work in a research lab and have confirmed that I don't want to.

1. I hate reading primary literature.
2. Primary investigators and directors of research institutions are horridly intimidating.
3. There is so much wait time in preparation or doing an experiment, but not enough time to do something else.
4. You pretty much have to work by yourself.
5. I just don't find it fulfilling.
6. I'm sure there are plenty more reasons/excuses I'll come up with to explain why I don't like research as the summer progresses

The only cool part? Some of the technology, equipment, and instruments they use. Snazzy.
